Privacy policy
Last updated 2 June 2026
FunctionAlps is a functional nutrition brand based in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects, why, and the control you keep over it. It is written to meet the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The short version
· We only collect what you give us when you contact us or book a call.
· We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so you will not see a cookie banner.
· We never sell your data and never share your browsing with ad networks.
· You can see, correct, or delete your data at any time. Just email us.
1. Who we are
The controller responsible for your data is FunctionAlps, operated during its launch phase by Alessandra Ginsburg (Nutrition Therapy), an independent practitioner (raison individuelle), at Chemin de Bonne-Eau 1, 3975 Crans-Montana, Switzerland. You can reach us any time at info@functionalps.com. Full details are on our legal notice.
2. What we collect
Information you give us: your name and email, and anything you write to us, when you fill in a form, get in touch, or book a call.
Information collected automatically: we may use privacy-first, cookieless analytics to understand how the site is used (for example which pages are read). It sets no cookies and does not identify you. We also keep basic technical logs needed to run the site securely.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To answer you and arrange your booking, on the basis of taking steps at your request.
- To send you updates or news, only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used, on the basis of our legitimate interest.
4. Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles. Because we set nothing that needs your consent, there is no cookie banner. When you choose to book a call, our booking tool (Calendly) loads only after you click, and may set its own cookies at that point.
5. Advertising
If we advertise on platforms such as Meta or Google, we measure how well our ads work using information you have given us with your consent (for example your email address, in scrambled form), sent securely to the platform. We never send your health information to any advertising platform, we do not place advertising tracking pixels on this site, and we do not track or retarget anonymous visitors.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We use a small set of trusted service providers, each under a data-processing agreement:
7. Where your data is processed
Your data is stored in the European Union (Supabase). Some providers are based in the United States (Resend, Vercel, Calendly). When data goes there, it is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Switzerland benefits from an EU adequacy decision, so transfers between the EU and Switzerland need no extra safeguard.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as we need it for the purpose you gave it for, then delete it. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.
9. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, to object to a use, or to withdraw a consent you gave. To do any of these, email info@functionalps.com. You also have the right to complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, your local data protection authority.
10. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted storage in the EU and strict access controls.
11. Children
FunctionAlps is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the service evolves. When we do, we change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you clearly.
13. Contact
Questions about your data, or this policy? Email info@functionalps.com and we will help.
This policy is written in good faith to be accurate and complete. It is information, not legal advice.
